WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU EVERYDAY:
- Three ring binder
- Pen and pencil
- Text book
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STUDENT:
- Be respectful
- Show consideration for others
- Raise your hand to ask for something or to answer a question
- Cursing or teasing is not acceptable
- Be prepared
- Be in your assigned seat when the bell rings
- Have materials ready that are needed for class
- Participate in class
- Pay attention
- Take notes
- Listen to instructions
- Contribute to class discussions and take part in activities
- Follow classroom procedures:
- Hats are not permitted
- All electronic devices (including cell phones) should be turned off and kept in backpacks
- Water is allowed and provided, other bottled or canned drinks are not permissible
- Bathroom breaks should be taken between classes, not during class
- Only touch equipment in the lab that you have been instructed to
- Take the AP Exam on Mon., May 9, 2011
- You are expected to prepare and study for the exam
MS. VITALE’S RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare you for the AP Exam on May 14, 2012
- Provide you with a positive learning environment
- Treat everyone with respect and care
- Grade and return work in a timely manner
- Be available for extra help before or after school
GRADING:
- Tests and quizzes are 60% of the total grade
- Labs and projects are 30% of the total grade
- Homework is 10% of the total grade
